Lake Arrowhead

Lake Arrowhead is a beautiful mountain subdivision in North Georgia featuring 8,000 acres of hardwood forest and two private lakes. The 540 acre lake is the largest privately owned lake in Georgia. It provides activities such as sailing, power boating, canoeing, kayaking, water-skiing, swimming and fishing. The lake is stocked with large mouth bass, bream, catfish and crappie.

The 18-hole "Lake Arrowhead" course at the Lake Arrowhead Resort & Country Club facility in Waleska, Georgia features 6,400 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 72.4 and it has a slope rating of 140. Lake Arrowhead golf course opened in 1973. George Sullivan manages the course as the General Manager.

Lake Arrowhead is located near Canton in Cherokee County, one of the fastest growing cities in the U.S. Over 8,000 homes are expected to be built over the next few years in Cherokee county.
